Sam Thompson has sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a sweet, loved-up snap with his new girlfriend, Talitha Balinska, offering another glimpse into their blossoming romance.
The 33-year-old TV personality took to his Instagram Story on Friday to post a cosy photo of the couple enjoying a quiet night in together. Sitting close on a sofa, Sam beamed for the camera while Talitha leaned her head on his shoulder, pouting playfully as they cuddled up. Keeping things simple, Sam captioned the moment with just a single red heart emoji—enough to say it all.
The affectionate post comes as the couple’s relationship continues to heat up, following their first Christmas spent together last month. Festive snaps shared online showed the pair celebrating with Sam’s family, including his mum, sister Louise, her fiancé Ryan Libbey, and their four-year-old son Leo. In one particularly sweet photo, Sam and Talitha even coordinated in matching red-and-white candy cane pyjamas.
Their romance has been steadily progressing, with Talitha recently being introduced to another important part of Sam’s life—his beloved football team. The pair enjoyed a date night at Chelsea’s home ground, Stamford Bridge, where Sam proudly brought Talitha along for a match-day experience.
Before heading to the stadium, Sam shared a mirror selfie of the couple wearing matching blue Chelsea jerseys, with Talitha styling hers by rolling it up to show off her bronzed midriff. “Game day baby!!!” Sam excitedly captioned the post.
Despite Chelsea’s frustrating 2–2 draw against Bournemouth, Sam appeared to take the result in good humour, joking online: “Really trying to ruin my Christmas holidays Chelsea…” The disappointing scoreline didn’t dampen the couple’s spirits, though, as they were spotted enjoying the evening together.
Sam and Talitha officially confirmed their relationship in early December after months of quietly dating. The pair were set up by Sam’s close friend and former Made In Chelsea co-star Reza Amiri-Garroussi, having first met back in 2023 when Talitha modelled for Sam and Reza’s sunglasses brand, Dinelli.
While Sam was previously in a long-term relationship with Zara McDermott, the two later reconnected after Talitha appeared as a surprise guest at Sam’s live show at London’s O2 Arena. As one source put it at the time, “the rest is history.”
Sam recently opened up about coming “off the market” during an episode of his Staying Relevant podcast with best friend Pete Wicks. “I’ve got a girlfriend!” Sam announced enthusiastically, as Pete jokingly replied: “We’ve lost him again to the dark powers of a woman.”
Sharing how he asked Talitha to be his girlfriend, Sam revealed the moment was refreshingly low-key. “It was super relaxed,” he said. “We just went for dinner, and I told her I really liked her. That’s all I wanted it to be.”
