La Voix Sets This Morning Ablaze with Brutal On-Air Swipe That Leaves Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard Reeling

Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix proved she’s just as lethal with her tongue as she is on the dancefloor, after delivering a savage on-air quip that left This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard stunned into laughter.

Appearing on the ITV daytime show alongside Vicky Pattison and George Clarke to discuss preparations for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, the drag superstar – real name Christopher Dennis – quickly turned a light-hearted chat into headline-making TV.

The conversation initially focused on the gruelling rehearsal schedule, but things took a sharp turn when La Voix began teasing her long-term ambition: landing a Strictly presenting role, potentially alongside Cat herself.

With impeccable comic timing, La Voix even presented Cat with a copy of Shirley Ballas’ autobiography, cheekily hinting that staying close to the head judge might help her chances. But when Cat opened the book, she noticed something odd – the signed message wasn’t addressed to her.

Cat laughed:
“I love that you haven’t actually made it out to me.”

That’s when La Voix struck.

“Well,” she quipped, “on this show it’s a different presenter every week – you never know who it’s going to be!”

The studio erupted, but La Voix wasn’t done.

“It’s like pot luck,” she continued. “It’s like work experience on this show.”

Cue shocked faces, nervous giggles, and full-blown chaos.

Ben and Cat were momentarily speechless before bursting into laughter, while Vicky and George visibly cringed as the comment landed with nuclear precision. The jab was a playful – yet unmistakably sharp – reference to This Morning’s ever-changing presenter line-up, which has seen a revolving door of familiar ITV faces step in following the departures of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Despite the brutal humour, the moment was pure La Voix: fearless, quick-witted, and utterly unapologetic.

The appearance comes during a whirlwind period for the fan favourite. La Voix was recently confirmed as one of the first celebrities joining the 2026 Strictly Live Tour, dancing once again with professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec, after her emotional exit from the TV competition due to injury.

Forced to withdraw after damaging her foot in rehearsals, La Voix fought back tears as she bowed out, later calling Strictly “the most extraordinary experience” of her life.

“I came into the show as a minority, as a redhead,” she joked at the time, “and you’ve all embraced me.”

Now back on her feet and ready to sashay across the country, La Voix is proving that even off the dancefloor, she knows exactly how to steal the spotlight – and maybe terrify a few daytime TV hosts along the way.

One thing’s certain: This Morning won’t forget that ‘work experience’ line anytime soon. 💥
