Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and YouTuber Joe Sugg looked utterly besotted while celebrating Christmas in Australia, giving fans a peek at their festive fun — and sparking engagement rumours along the way.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, shared a series of joyful photos from the trip, including beach adventures, spotting a kangaroo, and family Christmas lunch in Dianne’s homeland. One of the most playful snaps showed Dianne cooling off in a kiddie pool, her baby bump on full display as Joe lovingly kept her company.
But it was the very first photo that really set tongues wagging. In front of a twinkling Christmas tree, Joe was photographed kneeling and touching Dianne’s bare baby bump — a gesture some fans mistook for a proposal.

Joe, 34, and Dianne, 36, first revealed they were expecting a baby boy back in September with a heartwarming Instagram video, captioned: “Our little baby boy ❤️ we cannot wait to meet you.” They’ve already chosen a unique name for their son but plan to keep it a surprise until his birth.
The couple’s journey together began on the sixteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, when they were partnered on the show. The pair reached the final and quickly became a fan favourite, with sparks flying both on and off the dancefloor. Joe later asked Dianne to move in with him in 2019, and they now share a stunning £3.5m countryside home, where they’re preparing to welcome their little boy next year.
Dianne has continued to show off her incredible dance skills even while pregnant. Earlier this year, she hit back at trolls who criticised her dancing on Strictly, writing on TikTok: “For all the people saying they can’t watch a pregnant girl dance! I just can’t help it when I hear the beat,” before impressively performing a cartwheel.
