Strictly Come Dancing fans were given a feel-good moment this week as Vito Coppola delighted followers with a touching reunion update — and a heartfelt declaration of love — involving his former partner Ellie Goldstein.
The professional dancer, who returned to the BBC ballroom for his fourth series, was paired with model and actress Ellie for the 2025 competition. From their very first routine, viewers quickly warmed to the duo’s chemistry, positivity and genuine affection for one another.
Although their Strictly journey came to an early end following the much-loved Halloween special, their bond clearly didn’t fade once the music stopped.

After their elimination, Vito paid an emotional tribute to Ellie that resonated deeply with fans. Speaking openly, he praised her impact on his life, saying she had made him “a better person” and describing her arrival as the answer to a heartfelt wish for “a beautiful angel” to enter his life.
The pair continued dancing together beyond the competition and were later reunited on screen for one final performance during the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 grand final on December 20. The class of 2025 returned to the floor for a celebratory group number before Karen Carney and Carlos Gu were crowned champions.
Back Together for the Live Tour
Now, just weeks later, Vito and Ellie are officially back together once more — this time for the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2026 tour.
Rehearsals for the nationwide tour began this week, ahead of the opening night at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on January 23. Sharing behind-the-scenes footage from a photoshoot for the tour, Vito couldn’t hide his joy at being reunited with Ellie.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote:
“That smile is everything. Love you, cheeky. Your big brother is always by your side.”
The sweet message, paired with their radiant smiles, quickly won over fans, many of whom celebrated the pair’s continued friendship and infectious positivity.
