LATEST AMERICAN IDOL POLL: THE RACE IS HEATING UP
With the finale just around the corner, the latest American Idol fan poll proves one thing—this season is still wide open.
After Monday night’s episode, Hannah Harper has reclaimed the top spot, earning 35.4% of the vote with her performances of “Mean” and “That’s the Way Love Goes.” It marks her sixth time leading the poll—but this time, the gap is much tighter than before.
Right behind her, Keyla Richardson is holding strong at 21.5% after delivering “Lover” and “I’d Rather Go Blind,” while Jordan McCullough isn’t far off with 19.4% for “Tim McGraw” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” At this stage, it’s clearly shaping up to be a three-way battle for the crown.
And if last week taught fans anything, it’s to expect the unexpected. Following “Disney Night,” a last-minute voting surge completely flipped the rankings—pushing Jordan to No. 1, with Keyla close behind and Hannah dropping to third. Now, Hannah has bounced back, but the competition is tighter than ever.
Behind the top three, there’s a noticeable gap. Braden Rumfelt lands in fourth place with 15.9% after performing “Cardigan” and “This Love,” while Chris Tungseth trails with 7.8% for “Exile” and “What Was I Made For?”
Monday night also brought tough eliminations. While Daniel Stallworth’s exit aligned with poll predictions, the second elimination surprised many. Fans expected Chris to go home—but instead, it was Brooks who was eliminated, proving once again that nothing is guaranteed this season.
So what does it all mean?
Hannah may be back on top, but she’s far from safe. Keyla continues to be a steady contender, and Jordan’s recent momentum keeps him firmly in the fight. With votes this close, a last-minute shift could completely change the outcome.
As for the bottom, the picture is becoming clearer. With Brooks and Daniel gone, Braden and Chris now appear most at risk heading into the final rounds—likely battling to avoid the last eliminations before the May 11 finale.
One thing’s certain: with the competition this tight, every vote counts—and the winner is still anyone’s game. 👀
