The American Idol Season 24 finale aired live Monday night as finalists Hannah Harper, Jordan McCullough, and Keyla Richardson competed one last time for America’s vote and the chance to become the newest American Idol champion.
The special three-hour finale delivered an exciting night packed with superstar collaborations, emotional reunions, and standout performances. Alicia Keys appeared as both mentor and performer before Ryan Seacrest announced the highly anticipated final results.
Judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood also joined together for a special performance during the show. One of the night’s biggest surprises came when Underwood teamed up with legendary rock band Mötley Crüe for an unexpected collaboration that had fans talking.
Other guest performers throughout the finale included Brad Paisley, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Clay Aiken, En Vogue, Jason Mraz, Lee Ann Womack, Nelly, Shinedown, Tori Kelly, and viral sensation Cameron Whitcomb.

Ryan Seacrest officially announced the final results based on America’s live vote. After revealing the contestant finishing in third place Keyla Richardson and the runner-up is Jordan Mcclough , the winner of American Idol 2026 HANNAH HARPER was finally crowned in an emotional ending to the season.
